Did you know that Bromont’s mountain have long been a favourite hunting ground for hounds? This very traditional hunting technique involved releasing a pack of hunting dogs into the forest to bring out an animal – in this case, a fox. The team of hunters on horseback would follow the trails until the beagles found the prey.
Prior to this new bistro-bar, the room on this very spot had been named “Chasse à courre” in honor of this ancient local tradition.
