One must admit that when it comes to food, “the good stuff”, as my 7 year-old cousin would say, is one of the things that delights us the most. Discovering and being inspired by novel recipes, spending quality time with friends, or simply having our taste buds savour an unparalleled menu, are the reasons why I restaurant-hop just about any time of the year. During the summer, the terraces are without a doubt the place where I spend the better part of my time for dinner. The best of all worlds is when I am comfortably seated at the terrace with my sunglasses on and they serve me THE MEAL over which all my senses go crazy. My sense of smell comes to life thanks to the aromas emanating from the fresh ingredients of my meal. My taste buds delight over the first mouthful and, let’s be honest, we eat with our eyes first. In a nutshell, you know where I’m going with this. It is quite simply divine. Since Domaine Château-Bromont is located only a few minutes away from these terraces, I decided to share them with you.
So then, here are my top 4 terraces in Bromont. Not 3, not 5, but 4 excellent terraces.
1 – CHÂTEAU-BROMONT TERRACE
It’s impossible for me not to talk about these two terraces. It offers the most majestic views around. In addition to a breathtaking panorama, you’ll experience an extremely cool ambiance as well as a light, yet excellent menu. The perfect outing after a day of golf, biking or hiking.
The staff is really responsive to the needs and demands of each person, which is entirely to their credit. The menu has good variety, which is perfect for those who only want to enjoy an appetizer or for families with young children.
“We always have a drink at this terrace after our golf game. The view is superb, the atmosphere pleasant, and the welcome is nice.”

2 – EDGAR HYPERLODGE
The Edgar Hyperlodge is without a doubt one of my favorite terraces. The Edgar, in addition to being a restaurant, is also a brewery. Cette sorte-là (That sort), L’autre sorte (The other sort) or La brassée de blanc (A load of whites) are but a few examples of beers with zany names that are brewed right here. If you desire, you may also visit the brewery, which is located in the back of the restaurant.
I adore stopping by many times per summer for the ambiance and the cheerfulness of the staff, but it’s mostly for the bar, which opens directly on the terrace.
My culinary favorite is definitely the California burger. It is simply delicious. Do not think that this is a simple burger, because it is not. The ingredients blend together perfectly, which gives you the impression that this burger could have gotten 3 Michelin stars all by itself.
“The Edgar is a must-see for Bromont visitors. Unparalleled service by a considerate staff. The menu descriptions matched what was in our plates. The coconut shrimp and tuna tartar are excellent. The white beer paired well with the meals! The terrace is spacious and offers an incredible view of the mountain. I greatly recommend it.”

3 – Bistro 633
By and in itself, Shefford street deserves a visit, and the Bistro 633 just makes it that much more essential thanks to its two magnificent terraces. And I’ve got a little secret for you: unlike all the other restaurants that I know, you can reserve a table directly on one or the other of the terraces. This is certainly a plus. We couldn’t ask for anything better!
“Best restaurant in Bromont! Excellent breakfasts, exceptional owner, superb tapas to share in the evening. Original menu, excellent wine and magnificent ambiance. A must-see.”

The Bistro has a special evening tapas menu which is appreciated by all. It’s always a winning formula to share multiple meals in good company and be able to taste many more dishes than we would by eating alone. I just love tasting everything and it’s always enjoyable to be able to do so without my stomach exploding or leaving the restaurant feeling like a balloon!
4 – Brouemont
A nice, spacious, yet discreet terrace sheltered from noise, this one is certainly essential. Vintage craft beers are available on the spot. As a matter of fact, you can enjoy more than 20 types of beer. If you’re a beer lover, this is definitely the place for you!
They offer a thematic pub menu, comprised mainly of huge, juicy burgers, just like we love ‘em. These burgers have irrevocably made themselves famous. Let’s just say that there’s no shortage of choices, and they are delicious! When it comes to Brouemont, just leave your diet behind you and enjoy!
“Even if you’re not a beer drinker, this is the kind of restaurant that has warmth and where you’ll enjoy finding yourself in good company around a good burger. Oh, but what a hamburger!!! Large portions, impeccable service, congrats to the team!”
