Winter is one of the most beautiful seasons to explore the Bromont area, especially for outdoor enthusiasts. We have therefore prepared a short guide with our 4 favorite sports activities to enjoy this magical season during your next stay at the Domaine Château-Bromont!
Downhill skiing and snowboarding
This winter, venture onto the slopes of Bromont Mountain, the largest lighted ski area in North America with over 141 trails and 7 slopes. Its varied circuits, suitable for both intrepid skiers and families, will ensure an unforgettable season of downhill skiing and snowboarding!
Many new features are also waiting for you on site to relax, such as the Chalet Soleil and the completely renovated Bistro-bar with its revamped menu. Located only a few minutes from the Domaine Château-Bromont, you can even sleep directly at the foot of the mountain if you opt for a getaway in our ski in, ski out condos.
Alpine hiking or snowshoeing
If you prefer to explore the Bromont mountain on foot, 5 alpine hiking trails will allow you to admire the surrounding nature under its white coat. You can also rent snowshoes on site if you want to try a different sporting activity.
Among the other magnificent places where you can venture in the surroundings, we also count the Parc des Sommets in Bromont, the Parc National de la Yamaska as well as the Parc d’Environnement Naturel de Sutton extending over 52 km of nature. By staying at the Domaine Château-Bromont, you will also be only a few steps away from a complete network of trails for walking and getting fresh air nearby.
Skating
For a romantic day or an evening under the stars, nothing beats a little skating. Near the Domaine Château-Bromont, you can practice your favorite ice sport at the Grégoire Park as of December 18 and even during the holiday season! If you’re visiting us with your family, there’s also a slide on the site to entertain young and old alike.
For those who want to venture out a little further, we also recommend the Magog Ice Trail. You can skate on more than 2.8 km of ice while enjoying a superb view of Lake Memphremagog.
Cross-country skiing
Bromont and its surroundings are full of beautiful places where you can cross-country ski in the forest in complete peace of mind. Some of the best trails to try are the classic style (C1) belt and the Olympic Equestrian Park where you can practice the classic style or “pas de patin”.
Once you’ve finished your sporting activities, take advantage of the Domaine Château-Bromont’s facilities to relax, including our 4-season spas on the terrace while admiring the snow-covered mountain. We also await you at Les 4 Canards restaurant to regain your strength with gourmet discoveries featuring local flavors.
Have a good winter season and a great getaway!
