Located in Sainte-Cécile-de-Milton since 1927, Milton Ciderhouse now makes over 25 different ciders, from rosé to hoppy to ice cider. If you like sparkling refreshments, you won’t be disappointed when you stop in. You can also enjoy their beautiful picnic areas. Don’t leave without visiting their gourmet store where apples and local flavors are in the spotlight. Sweet pies, pâtés, tourtières and a variety of apples will be at your disposal to bring home some of their delights.
On the edge of Mont Brome, you will find the charming Léon Courville vineyard where more than 12 different grape varieties are grown, including nine hybrids, more resistant to the cold and the Quebec climate. Let yourself be charmed by their pretty wooden tasting case for two people, including six drinks in total and three different wines. You can then savor it all while admiring the green landscape in the specially designed relaxation area near the vineyards.
The oldest vineyard in Quebec, the Domaine des Côtes d’Ardoise has lost none of its charm. You will find a wide variety of different wines, including reds, whites, rosé and dessert wines, as well as sparkling and ice cider, which you can taste with one of their tasting packages. Enjoy their country setting surrounded by gardens and historic buildings to discover their products as well as an art exhibit spanning over a kilometer. With their 114-acre estate featuring more than 60,000 vines and a breathtaking view of Lake Magog, Le Cep d’Argent vineyard will also seduce you with its champagne expertise. Producing more than 125,000 bottles per year, their product line offers high quality bubbles as well as wines of all colors, from full-bodied to sweet. Their white grape varieties include Seyval Blanc and Vidal, while their red grape varieties include Frontenac Noir, Maréchal Foch, Sainte-Croix and Seyval Noir.
